It also includes WiFi 6E support, which significantly increases download speeds—up to three times faster—and ensures smoother, low-latency online gaming.

The device is now slightly lighter—about 30 grams less than the LCD model—and features improved thermals with a larger fan, keeping the system cooler during extended play sessions. Additional upgrades include a vastly improved touchscreen with higher responsiveness, more consistent high-fidelity haptics, and a dedicated Bluetooth antenna for better wireless connectivity when using multiple controllers.

Even the accessories and internal layout have been enhanced. The 1TB models, including the Limited Edition, come with a premium carrying case featuring a removable liner—ideal for travel when you want less bulk. Repairability and modding have also been made easier, with Torx™ screws now threading into metal for more durable disassembly and reassembly. Internal components are more accessible, and replacement parts for the OLED model will soon be available via iFixit, making it easier for users to maintain or customize their device.
